Twinkie Diet
My friends and I brainstormed possible aim to habituate for this challenge . When “ Twinkies ” come up , I instantly rushed to the computer storage to grease one’s palms some ( i.e. a 10 - face pack box and a threefold pack ) . I choose the kitchen as the surround to give the belief that the house ’s dieting only consists of Twinkie .
Shooting most of the image just involved moving the Twinkies from one section to another . However , having only 10 individual cakes , some improvising was necessary to create “ large good deal ” of Twinkies . For example , form the stack in the crystal bowl was action by place other non - Twinkie snacks at the bottom to make the bowl look full . Similarly , cardboard boxes serve as a basis for the Twinkies in the drawers and pass to produce an overflowing issue . A total of 79 images were used to work the final image . Camera : Sony NEX - C3 , 18 - 55 millimetre electron lens , f/3.5 , 1/30 sec , ISO 800

(Almost) Endless Keyboard
This challenge was particularly interesting to me , since I ’ve done similar experiment before – having many versions of the same soul in the image – and have had my honest portion of sport with Photoshop tricks . My quandary was what objective to expend to fulfill up the elbow room , when I settle to employ my keyboard . And instead of putting it in dissimilar lieu in the elbow room , I make up one’s mind to make it one continuous , meandering keyboard ! I took a total of 18 shots , but finish up using only 14 and of row , run up them in Photoshop 🙂 Canon T2i at 18 millimetre – f/5.6 , 1/6s shutter speed , ISO 100 along with a Canon Speedlite at 1/4 mightiness

Welcome to Casa Full of Labs
What a great challenge ! So many idea , so many possible action , one object . I really wanted to do this challenge with my Labrador Retriever “ Bono ” sit all over the livelihood room . But asking a 1 - year old lab to sit sill in 30 unlike places is not an well-situated labor . So or else I used the next good affair , a wooden garden welcome laboratory ! The setup for the photo(s ) accept almost as long as the pic shoot itself . test to adjudicate where and how the object was blend in to be shoot was important . I tried not to have the lab overlap between photo as i knew this would make it heavily post product . I read a exposure of the welcome lab in my garden and put the photo on the tv then went to workplace . I did n’t have a wireless remote control so i did a lot of walk back and forth from the tripod to the aim . gracious exercise ! 48 photos later , I was done … at least with the shooting part . I ’m still learning PS so I always feel like i ’m a fate tiresome post production than I should be . The entire project took about 3 hours to nail . I was proud of with the death issue and felicitous to have learned yet another PS proficiency . perchance when my lab “ Bono ” is 5 geezerhood old he ’ll let me redo this photo with the real matter . Nikon D3100 , 18 - 55 mm 3.5 - 5.6 GB , F-3.8 , ISO 560 , 1/20s picture

Imperial March of the Hallway
For this challenge I set up my Panasonic FZ35 on tripod at the end of my hallway . I rigged it up to take a picture every 30 seconds at 1/4 , F2.8 and ISO 80 . Once it started snapping the pictures , I set up a phone line of lego storm troopers that span the width of the hallway . Then I would move the line down the hallway slightly and hide in the W.C. before the picture was taken . I did this until the line get hold of the opposite end of the hallway . I ended up with 50 usable pictures , which when multiplied by the number of soldiers in each line of descent make a total of 400 soldiers . The pictures were fuse in Photoshop CS4 .

Then I got athirst and pay off myself a snack so I die to my kitchen . hmmm what to shoot down , what to bourgeon … Buckeye State I ’ll fill my kitchen with garden gnomes ! ! ! How kinky ! And as an added incentive I ’ll make the delusion of flight by shooting them by thrash about them in mid air . I did want to let in more gnomes but regrettably I sorta broke my dwarf during one of the mid air travel shots . 2 hours of shot and 5 hours of Photoshop work afterward … Voila ! Oh #*&$
My bride-to-be dress out up as Chell from the Portal serial during the last Los Angeles Anime Expo , so I had the musical theme of having her crash a turret party . Hey , those turrets involve a little time to catch up once in a while too between work !
Basically , we used one of the Valve Plush Turrets from Portal and placed it aboard everywhere . Learned a lot while doing this , and figured out what I should have / could have done good afterwards . Thanks for these challenges , they are aid me learn new techniques !
