She accessorized the outfit with a pair of drop crystal earrings and a singular diamond ring. She completed the red carpet look with a dewy makeup look that included light brown lipgloss and a gray smokey eye shadow look.

The couple’s 17-year-old twins,Bronwyn Golden and Slater Josiah, matched their father in all-black ensembles — giving their mother her time to shine! Slater posed in a sleek black patent leather suit that included a faint feathered pattern. He completed his look with a black tie.
Bronwyn wore an embellished black A-line dress that included a black beading and white crystals. Her look was topped off with a crystal-encrusted micro mini black tote and silver hoop earrings.

Bassett is being honored at the 14th Governors Awards for her contributions to the film industry. “Across her decades-long career, Angela Bassett has continued to deliver transcendent performances that set new standards in acting.” Academy President Janet Yang said in a press release.
Bassett has earned two Oscar nominations: first for best actress for 1993’sWhat’s Love Got to Do with It, then for best supporting actress for last year’sBlack Panther: Wakanda Foreverfor her role as Queen Ramonda.
As the Style Queen she is, Bassett ruled the 2023 red carpet season with an array of winning looks, including her Golden Globes and Oscars gowns, with the help of her longtime stylist, Jennifer Austin.

While accepting her second Golden Globes victory last year,Bassett sparkled in a silver sequin Pamella Roland halter-neck gown. Stylist Austin paired the glittering dress with coordinating silver Sarah Flint heels and Chopard jewels.
