Heady theatre director of Drive , Nicolas Winding Refn has found a menage for his rebooted Barbarella TV series . But will it still have the extravagant Machine ?
Deadlinebroke the news program that Refn ’s sexy remaking of the 1968 moving picture ( which originally starred Jane Fonda ) will premiere on Amazon Studios . But even though Refn is working as executive producer , the series itself is still on the hunting for a showrunner .
As of right now , Amazon has only put up a pilot , and if they care what they see they will take it to series . No word on whether Refn will manoeuver the premiere episode , but we hope he does .
