Stephanie Leonidas – Irisa
Your theatrical role is an foreign charwoman who was raised by a human “ forefather . ” What ’s ahead for you two ? And what ’s the kinship like between Irisa and Nolan ? Is there love as well as animus there ?
Stephanie Leonidas : Between me and Nolan ? Yeah , they would do anything for each other . Their line is they know or snuff it together . They are so ferociously firm towards each other . They could n’t be without each other . Nolan ’s leaven Irisa since she was a young minor . She ’s also been a rock for him … they really adore each other . But yeah , she can be quite unmanageable .
have ’s verbalize about your combat expressive style . What did you have to memorise ? How did you rail ? You are quite acrobatic and you kick a lot of laughingstock in this .
Stephanie Leonidas : I had a martial artistry trainer while I was in Toronto , which was great fun . He exhausted me everyday , he was brilliant . And the stunt team was awesome . I was practice throwing knife in - between issue , jumping off stuff , climb up stuff . I just threw myself into it .
Tony Curran – Datak Tarr
Your type is sort of the disreputable gangster of Defiance . Why does everybody give him so much slack water ? Because he ’s such a saccade . Why does [ Datak ] get out with so much ?
Tony Curran : Do you consider he gets away with so much ? I think he gets away quite a draw , being a jerk obviously , give thanks you for that . The purpose of that word . He ’s in the underbelly of Defiance and if you do n’t do that he says … you might not be around township much longer . I cerebrate that ’s why a circle of people cerebrate that he ’s a jerk .
There ’s a lot of play with using unlike alien cultures . How does your characters use his own alien cultivation to his welfare , and is that something he ’s very hook up with to ?
Tony Curran : Datak uses his culture to his own end , for his own benefit . Many times people think he ’s just trying to operate the situation . But he has a ghostly and religious background that he ’s very , very … Nothing is go bad to take that path from him . From his own jehad , if you will . He sticks to his culture in a very tough manner . But in many way , he ’s a foul piece of employment . But that nasty objet d’art of work comes from his background . He was n’t bear bad , I do n’t recollect . Or maybe he was . I think his past times has a good deal to do with the style he ’s is now .

Which alien race [ on Defiance ] is your favorite ?
Kevin Murphy : The Gulanee , because they could be anything — we have n’t see them on the show yet , and they ’re comprised of radioactive mist . But really , I like the Castithans the best to write . Because they are the most like human being . They have some of the rather awful habits of human beings . I run to stay it to the polish of the Castithans . And it ’s a good manner to kind of support up a mirror to what we do by looking at the obnoxious things the Castithans do culturally .
