Dina Lohan had already gotten suspicious that heronline boyfrienddidn’t have the best intentions before they called it quits.
On Saturday, her ex Jesse Nadler toldTMZthat the pair, who had never met in real life, had finally set up a time to meet, but broke up before that could happen due to a fight.
However, a source close toLindsay Lohan‘s mother, 56, tells PEOPLE that “there was no meeting scheduled” as “Dina was already suspicious that he was media hungry and she is in talks about doing several new shows, including a dating show.”
“This guy wants his 15 minutes of fame — he just proved her suspicions correct,” the source adds.

News of Dina’s relationship first emerged during her time as a contestant onCelebrity Big Brotherearlier this year.
During one of the episodes, she revealed that she’s been talking to “a special someone” for five years, even though they’venever actually met in real life— or even FaceTimed.
The New York-based star went on to explain that she hadn’t met her long-term boyfriend yet because he was currently living San Fransisco, California, taking care of his mother and he doesn’t use FaceTime.
“It’s personal,” she said. “He’s real. I swear, it’s crazy. But I’m going to marry him. It’s really, really true. I talk to his ma!”
In February, Schulman revealed the identity of the man who claimed to be Dina’s boyfriend: Jesse Nadler, a 53-year-old from Tiburon, California, according toThe Blast.
“UPDATE: found @dinalohan’s boyfriend…but his story is way bigger than I could have ever imagined,” Schulman tweeted.
In a follow-up tweet, Schulman shared a photo of Nadler, writing: “CONFIRMED: Jesse Nadler is Dina Lohan’s boyfriend. Much much more coming soon…”
At the time, Nadler himself had been tweeting about his supposed relationship with Dina, insisting that he’s wasn’t catfishing her.
“I’ll be the judge of that…” Schulman replied.
Nadler, who said he works in commercial real estate, went on to tellPage Sixthat he had never met Dina in person due to his mother’s failing health, which she also noted onCelebrity Big Brother.
