The show , a live - action version of the comedian , was one of a number of show developed and stream initially for DC Universe , Warner Bros ’s try at a DC - centrical cyclosis platform . But it seems DC Universe is motivate out of the spotlight for HBO Max to become the central hub for all novel Warner programming , including the superhero stuff . So as of the second time of year , Doom Patrol is on Max as well , and starting with this coming third , it ’s go away to be there solely .

DC Fandome unfortunately did n’t let in anything in the form of point on this upcoming time of year , but , candidly , we ’re just glad it ’s come . Doom Patrol is anoff - kilter show , the kind of fare that often lives a much shorter life than it merit . star an eclectic banding of superheroes and a fantastic cast including Brendan Fraser , Matt Bomer , Diane Guerrero , and Jovian Wade , it ’s a show that ’s well deserving check out .
