Drake‘s dadDennis Grahamis opening up about his embattled friends —R. KellyandJussie Smollettamid their recent scandals.

During an interview about his new single, Graham was asked about Kelly, who this weekpleaded not guiltyto 10 counts ofaggravated criminal sexual abuseagainst four alleged victims.

TellingVarietythat the “Ignition” singer is “a good friend of mine,” Graham said: “I wish him the best.”

“I hate that it’s happening to him. There’s a reason why women come out after the fact. He has my support 100 percent.”

Graham also threw his support behind Smollett — who has been accused of staginga “bogus” attackagainst himself — saying the actor “has been misunderstood.”

“As a matter of fact, they know that. That story that came out about Jussie in Chicago is not true about Jussie. Jussie is a friend of mine, also. They have totally reconstructed his story.”

Smollett wasarrestedlast week and is facing a felony charge of disorderly conduct. If convicted, he could serve up to three years in prison.

TheEmpireactor has denied the allegations andmaintains his innocence.

“I made it about 10 years ago. My brother and my cousin Tone Bling, we were just in my apartment. Tone came up with the track and I wrote the words to it.”
