The first photo is out for Bryan Fuller ’s remake of the classic quirky sitcom The Munsters , Mockingbird Lane . Unfortunately , it ’s not a cast picture ( we ’re dying to see Eddie Izzard as Grandpa ) , but it does countersink a cartoony gothic tone — at least where the show ’s architecture is concerned .

These are a blinged - out representation of what monsters would be doing if they lived in our society today . How they would look , how they would interact . Our closet is hard influenced by Alexander McQueen and his usage of animal textures . For example , with [ the vampire ] Lily , all of her press fall from nature . The first clip we see her this nest of spiders weaves her dress on her body as she ’s standing there . We ’ll see ravens come in and assemble her blouse out of their feathering . We wo n’t see animal skins because the animate being are donate as opposed to dying for it . She has domain over nature and nature has a fantastic aesthetic .
Between the image and these costumes , it fathom like we ’re in for some wonderfully , typically Fuller oculus - candy . Color me excited in fatal with candy passementerie .
