The dancing pros celebrated the holiday with sonsRio John, 5 months, andShai Aleksander, 6. The family joinedDancing with the StarshostAlfonso Ribeiroand his wifeAngela Ribeiroat the couple’s house for aThanksgiving reunionwith their costars and their loved ones.
“Oh how our family has grown ❤️,” Murgatroyd, 37, began in a festive social mediapost. “Huge thank you to@mrsangelaribeiro1@therealalfonsoribeirofor again putting on the best feast and managing to gather everyone from@dancingwiththestars🙏🏻.”
“This year has been one for the books…with some great joys and some serious lows,” she explained. “Losing my fatherhas been my greatest pain but gaining two new little loves (Rio and Hachi) has filled my life with an abundance of happiness. Life brings constant waves of ups and downs and I have to be grateful for it all.”

Speaking with PEOPLE following last month’sHalloweenshow, Murgatroyd, 37, opened up about how supportive her husband has been when it comes to looking after their two sons.
“He’s on daddy duty full time right now,” said the pro dancer, who is partnered withThe Brady BunchactorBarry Williamsthis season. “He’s trick-or-treating with Shai. So it’s the first year I haven’t actually been there, but he’s doing a great job."
She added, “He’s always supporting. He loves Barry. He’s rooting us on always. So he’s the best.”

Murgatroyd returned to the dance floor three months after welcoming Rio in June. And just days after his birth, she and herDWTSalum husband exclusively introduced the little one via PEOPLEand revealed his name.“We loved Rio, which we came upon at the last minute. It’s a perfect complement to our long surname!” Murgatroyd said at the time. “We also wanted something easy to say with Shai.”
Murgatroyd and Chmerkovskiy first met onBroadwayin 2009, and they started dating in 2012. They went on to welcome Shai in January 2017, and tied the knot that July.
