The moment appeared in in a supertease highlighting what’s to come on Netflix in 2024.

Lee Jung-jaeis back as Seong Gi-hun, the man who won the brutal competition in season 1 — only to unexpectedly decide during a cliffhanger finale that he would go back to play more murderous children’s games.

Thursday’s sneak peek shows Gi-hun walking through an airport with the hot pink locks he adopted post-Squid Game. He answers a phone call, and the voice on the other end is full of vengeance.

“You’re going to regret the choice you made,” the game-master says in Korean.

But Gi-hun is equally fierce, replying, “I will find you, no matter what it takes.”

The snippet bears a resemblance toLiam Neeson’s iconically badass line delivery in 2008’sTaken— and it truly sounds like nothing will stop Gi-hun from returning to exact his revenge.

That said, the former petty thief must be tired after beating out 455 competitors, including childhood friend, in the Squid Game architects' sinister battle to the death over kids' games.
